I am based in the South West of the Island, so I have a great route in this area.
One of my routes take in the beach at Cala Tarida. On this route I incorporate the art instillation, Space and Time by Andrew Rogers, commissioned by the founder of Cirque du Soleil, Guy Laliberté . This is referred to as Ibiza's stonehenge.
Also, the area known as "Nature area of special interest" at Cala Comte, then following the coastline from Platges de Comte we will see the En Rovira watchtower, which is one of the biggest on the island. It was built in the 18th century to watch for invading Pirates.
Then onto the scenic Cala Bassa and through to San Antonio.
I have a fantastic route taking in the Church at Sant Augusti with a nice flowing downhill run, then continuing though the olive trees and across the agricultural area below.
This route has some stunning views from the highpoints and takes in the working farms that produce and supply the local businesses.
Las Salinas is an area containing land and sea nature reserves that are visually stunning and filled with wildlife.
A flatter and more open landscape give an open view of the area with a long beach and crystal-clear waters. This is the place to see a huge selection of migratory birds as well as the Flamingos.
Es Vedra is probably one of the most well-known and popular sightseeing destinations in Ibiza as this imposing rock is steeped in mystery.
The area has some great trails with technical downhill runs. Cala D'hort is the beautiful beach at the bottom of the very steep hill that offers a bit of a challenge on the ride back up.
